Who we are
We are Jonathan and Andrea Batteas, founders of The Grave Hunters Society in Dayton, Ohio. We research historical records and document the stories people share with us.
Ghosts, cryptids, true crime, strange coincidences, alien encounters, lost treasure. We don’t just visit these places; we dive into the rabbit holes and search for the clues everyone else missed.
Andrea and Jonathan founded the Society in Dayton, Ohio, on 26 May 2020, on a simple conviction: every life matters, every story deserves telling, and the forgotten corners of history still have something to teach us. We are not debunkers, and we are not thrill-seekers. We follow the evidence and try to get the details right, because accuracy is how you honor the people you research.
